February 27, 2015 – One of the empires leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, TV Continental, otherwise called TVC has acquired a drone.
Members of the technical crew of the television outfit launched the drone at the Lagos State rally of the APC in Agege, Lagos.
The drone has specially fitted cameras for recording events from the sky and it caused a stir when it was deployed on Thursday during the campaign with many wondering what it was but for the name tag of the station which suggests its use for recording purpose.
It is the first time a television station in Nigeria will be acquiring state of the arts drone for recording events in any large gathering.
Our correspondent reported that it is controlled via a remote mounted with a small monitor and offers ease for crew members deployed to cover events.
Drone is the modern technology deployed internationally by filmmakers and some television stations for special recording.
