ABUJA, Nigeria – President elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu today arrived Nigeria after disappearing for almost a month fueling speculation about the state of his health.
Tinubu, who has been away in France landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the afternoon aboard his private jet.
He was with his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu and President of the Senate, Mr. Ahmad Lawan, Speaker House of Representatives, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila among others.
Tinubu who was looking very healthy acknowledged cheers waving to the crowd who had thronged the airport to receive him.
He thanked Nigerians for the prayers during the period he was away from the country.
Tinubu will be sworn in as president of Nigeria on May 29, 2029.
He is yet to name his cabinet but there has been series of speculations online about his chief of Staff and other personal staff.
