March 2, 2015 – Vice Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Professor Yemi Osibanjo has refuted reports circulating in the media that photograph of an old man that looks like himself in the media was never his father.
The professor took to his tweeter account today, @professor Osinbajo to debunk the reports that the man was his father.
According to his tweet, “He isn’t my father, brother, uncle or blood relative. But he is a Nigerian father. He deserves our respect”, he said.
In the picture, the professor appeared to have handed over some crisps notes to the old man and they were looking at same direction.
The professor did not state the village where he met the old man.
