LAGOS, Nigeria – The Plug has introduced its newest signee, DJ Wayne. The deal will assist DJ Wayne to expand his reach with the new generation of music listeners and consumers.
This move lands him on a roster that boasts the likes of Davido, Mayorkun, Peruzzi, DJ Obi, and SmallztheDJ.
DJ Wayne is known for bringing a much-needed alternative dose of trap, afro beats, rap, hip hop, and ’90s R&B to Lagos city’s youthful nightlife. Dj Wayne is fast becoming the preferred choice to a generation eager for a breath of fresh music to satisfy their musical cravings for alternative music, sounds that carry the city’s energy.
Wayne’s impressive CV has him currently enjoying a residency at the prestigious BEAT FM every Friday and has also seen him share stages with the likes of Skepta,Siobhan Bell and Tiffany Calver at Homecoming 2019. In 2018, he graced the stage at Homecoming and “NATIVELAND” by Nativemag.
Right from his days of being an assistant disc-jockey playing at Vapors alongside the late great Dj Olu, Wayne has consistently shown his teeming supporters his passion and love for his art, and his determination to make his brand a globally recognized force in the entertainment industry. His recent projects include December in Lagos Vol. III.
