‘ZERO RESTRAINT’: Iran warns of ‘powerful’ revenge if Israel hits back

IRAN has issued a chilling “zero restraint” warning to Israel as tensions in the Middle East reach a breaking point.
In a defiant outburst, Iranian bigwig Seyyid Abbas Araghchi claimed his country would unleash a “powerful” response if Israel dares to target its infrastructure.
The hardline official insisted that while Iranians are “men and women of principles” who don’t “sneak attack” during talks, the gloves will come off if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders a strike.
‘We Are Ready’
Araghchi boasted that Tehran has “intelligence” on Israeli plans to hit key sites, including power grids and oil refineries.
He warned: “Once again: ZERO restraint if our infrastructure is attacked.”
The saber-rattling comes as the region holds its breath for Israel’s retaliation following Iran’s recent missile barrage. Sources say the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are weighing up “all options,” including surgical strikes on military and economic targets.
The ‘Sneak’ Slapback
In a bizarre attempt to claim the moral high ground, Araghchi added: “Iranians do not sneak attack adversaries while engaged in dialogue. Only when attacked do we powerfully respond.”
But critics were quick to point out the hypocrisy, noting Iran’s long history of using “proxy” terror groups like Hezbollah and Hamas to do its dirty work from the shadows.
The current crisis was sparked by a massive Iranian ballistic missile attack on Israel earlier this month. Israel has since vowed to make Iran “pay a heavy price,” with speculation mounting that the IDF could target:
- Oil Infrastructure: Hitting Iran’s wallet by taking out refineries.
- Nuclear Sites: A move that many fear would trigger an all-out regional conflict.
- Military Bases: To cripple the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Iran’s economy is already on its knees due to international sanctions, and a strike on its power or oil sectors could lead to widespread civil unrest.
Araghchi’s “zero restraint” comment is seen by experts as a desperate attempt to deter Israel by threatening a wider, more destructive war.
