The Chief Financial Officer of Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Wanzhou Meng, 49, of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) was today arraigned before a Federal District Court in Brooklyn on charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud, bank fraud and wire fraud. Wanzhou Meng entered into a deferred prosecution agreement (DPA).
