LAGOS, Nigeria – Screen diva, Tiwa Savage is heartbroken, following threat from a blackmailer to release the sex tape of her amorous encounter with her current lover.
It is not sure how the blackmailer got hold of the video but the musician exonerated her lover, whom she said is presently not happy that somebody is blacking his lover with the beautiful moment they had together.
Tiwa Savage said the video was sent to her Road Manager, who in turn forwarded it to her phone, asking her to take a look at it.
The screen diva said she contemplated paying the money but on a second thought discovered that the blackmailer could actually turn her into a milking pot if she concedes to request.
She decided to mention it in a now viral video interview in other to stop the blackmailer from making money from her just because she has indulged in something that is natural.
She received the message just as she was departing a radio station she had visited for an interview.
“Yesterday, I was leaving a radio station, I was in my car and my road manager said check your phone, I asked how did you get it and he said I just got it like 20 minutes ago .
“The video was sent to him. It’s the tape of me and the person I am dating right now and he is getting crazy about it already. The first thing I got on my phone and I sent it to my manager and he said, Oh my god and I said, what are we going to do, the person is asking for money.
“So , I woke up and I said, no, because if I pay it now, two months down, the line you are going to come up again and then two, years, even if I pay it now, how are my sure you are going to release it anyway. I said I am not going to allow any person to blackmail me with something that is natural”, she said.

The African Union Commission (AUC) and The International Committee of All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) have released the 2021 nominees list. The list, released on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, was from the over 8,880 songs submitted for adjudication. It features over 400 songs from artistes in the 30 continental and 10 regional categories cutting across African talents and creatives living on the continent and in the Diaspora.
