The Benue State Governor, Mr. Samuel Ortom has said that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has resolved internal crisis, learnt its lessons and ready to serve as beacon of hope to Nigerians.
Ortom who made the statement while speaking to journalists at the Makurdi Airport said internal wrangling in the party have been resolved and that the party is now poised for victory in future elections.

The People Democratic Party(PDP) has kicked off the battle to stop cases of defection from the party by approaching a Federal High Court in Abuja to declare the Zamfara State Governor, Mr. Bello Matawalle and his deputy, Mahadi Aliyu Gusau unfit to continue in office having defected from the party on whose platform they were elected.
