The Nigerian Communications Commission’s (NCC)  is accelerating  its quest  to deploy  Fifth Generation  technology with the Commission confirming that it is now  97 per cent ready to deploy it. The NCC made the revelation  few  weeks after it informed the National Assembly that preparation for the deployment has reached 95 percent

The Federal Government has approved the deployment of the Fifth Generation Network, otherwise called 5G in Nigeria.

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has allayed the fears of Nigerians on the deployment of Fifth Generation (5G) technology in Nigeria, clarifying that there is no known scientific evidence till date suggesting that 5G poses any risks to public health and safety.
