UMUAHIA, Abia – Enemies of Abia State are relentlessly at work, doing iniquities, and mischiefs, which these enemies are well known.
At this critical time, signposting the Advent of A New Abia, these enemies of Abia citizenry have gone to work, zealously sponsoring, peddling, and spreading malicious, pernicious, rumours, coupled with blackmail, in Abia political space.
In so doing, the ultimate aims and objectives of the enemies of Abia State, and sponsors of the malicious rumours, together with hired vendors of the rumours, and armies of rumours mongers, have only one sinister purpose in mind.
Notably, the aim is not primarily to discredit directly Professor Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe, as the primary target, who is APGA Governorship Candidate.
Rather, the obnoxious aim of the sinister stratagem adopted is directed against the well-being of Abia State.
Hence, the rumours mills and blackmail are deviously designed as desperate political devices aimed to halt and deny the teeming populace of Abia State citizens, who are eager to welcome the fast approaching Change Initiatives, inherent in 2023 Governorship elections; the imminent prospects of harvesting and enjoying the much delayed and highly anticipated arrival of progress, massive turn-around; and many other goodies, in all facets of Abia society, destined to take place, if Professor Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe, becomes the Governor-Elect of Abia State, in the upcoming Governorship polls.
This is the essence of desperate plots and devices behind the rumours and blackmail, sponsored by the enemies of Abia State. Make no mistakes in comprehending this most important disclosures on the secret agenda of these enemies, though cleverly disguised.
The desperate sponsors, and commissioned agents, and peddlers of the rumours, now at work, at this critical juncture, have no other means to keep in perpetuity Abians in bondage. Except to poison the minds of Abians, in order to derail The Year of Jubilee, now almost at hand.
These enemies of Abia State, having realized that Abia State is now already standing firmly on the beachhead of breaking completely with the failures of the past 24 years in public governance; having equally realized that Abians are quite determined to move into A New Era; and finally step into the “Promised Land”; these enemies find it disturbing, think it highly unimaginable, to watch this Liberation take place.
Hence, the desperate response of these desperate common enemies of Abia State, is the resort to cheap but pernicious rumours and blackmail targeted against entire Abia society but in disguise unleashing desperate accusations in the direction of the perceived Agent of Progress, Chief Advocate, and Champion of New Abia State, Professor Greg Ike Ibe.
New Era, in Abia State Political stratosphere and spectrum evident in 2023 Governorship polls, now is understandably subjected to desperate attacks by desperate drowning enemies of Abia State citizens.
According to the odious rumours and cocktails of blackmail, making the rounds in different political spaces, Professor Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe, is maliciously branded, totally misrepresented as the “Political godson” of T.A Orji, as the “Political godfather” and Sponsor.
The ultimate truth is: this false and imaginary “sponsorship” as maliciously allegedly does not exist in reality.
Professor Gregory Ibe, cannot barter the common well-being of Abia State Corporate Abia State, for such relationships. Professor Greg Ike Ibe, is wholly, solely, absolutely INDEPENDENT, politically.
Professor Ibe, absolutely is NOT accountable to any godfathers. Not indebted to any political godfathers for any political favours, including T.A Orji.
Even within the immediate circles or confines of APGA, Professor Ibe, is NOT at anytime tied down to any such relationships.
Professor Gregory Ibe, secured APGA Guber Primary ticket and emerged the popular flag bearer, chiefly by defeating other contestants, without at anytime compromising himself and his integrity, through any political “deals” outside his enviable pedigrees and towering profile.
Professor Gregory Ibe’s erstwhile past political relationship with PDP, it is noteworthy to disclose herein for the umpteen time, ended in 2022.
As PDP member, Professor Gregory Ibe, shunned showing any interests or signs to be subservient to any persons, groups of persons and cliques, in search of “Political Stooges” to serve their self-serving interests, and enslave Abia State, as private estate.
Professor Ibe, completely sidelined and sidestepped such persons and any suggestions of such possibilities or probabilities while in PDP.
Professor Ibe, never romanced with such enemies of Abia State, no matter how highly placed such individuals or groups considered themselves, in the scheme of Abia political spectrum. Because Professor Ibe, understood perfectly his divinely ordained political mission in Abia State, cannot be compromised.
It was on account of these perceived “Arrogant”, blatant unresponsive dispositions exhibited by Professor Greg Ike Ibe, from nurturing any burdensome types of political relationships, based on political godfathers and political godsons; and resultant politically motivated anti-Professor Gregory Ibe devices, were the primary reasons for termination of political relationship by Professor Greg Ibe, with PDP.
Coupled with well known and publicized odious politically engineered manipulative policies adopted by PDP, in order to install the Anointed Candidate.
Professor Ibe, consequently severed any political ties with PDP, and accordingly, PDP is just “Past Tense” politically, to Professor Ibe.
Having jettisoned PDP, and having joined APGA, Professor Gregory Ibe, never at anytime entertained any double-mindedness in forging ahead politically, as Independent minded but listening person.
Furthermore, any insinuations in the rumours mills linking Professor Ibe to T.A Orji, particularly based on drawing unreasonable, illogical inference from the citing of Professor Ibe’s Campaign head office, in the strategically located complex, known as Event Center, in Umuahia, to say the least, amounts to the net product of malignant ignorance, and deliberate mischiefs.
For necessary clarification purposes, the Campaign head office of the APGA Candidate, was neither donated by T.A Orji, nor secured with any help of T.A Orji.
The complex in question, housing the Campaign head office, was duly and genuinely procured from well known estate developer, Sir Emmanuel Ndubuisi Mbaka, of Trademore, and CEO of Platinum Mortgage Bank Ltd, and indigene of Eluama Isuikwuato, Abia State.
Thus, any malicious, unfounded rumours or blackmail, including spurious speculations, that ignore these authentic, verifiable facts, qualify simply, for cocktails of concoctions of “Tales by Moonlight.”
Another dubious, maliciously designed rumours fit only for consumption of trash-bins, have linked the APGA Candidate and PGI Campaign Council DG, Dr. Longman Nwachukwu, to T.A. Orji, as imaginary proof of godfather and godson political relationships.
The Campaign DG, was simply identified as eminent APGA member and stakeholder; and appointed into the strategic position of DG only on the basis of proven competencies and capabilities required for the office; and not for any other imaginary, extraneous factors or considerations.
In this regard, APGA Candidate, Professor Gregory Ibe, is well known for his persistent knack for excellence; his uncompromising attitudes on insisting “Square” or “Round” “Pegs” fit into “Square” or “Round” “Holes”.
This philosophy is the definitive hallmarks of Professor Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe’s success stories as renowned Entrepreneur; and the “Secret” behind his “Midas Touch” Personality.
Professor Gregory Ibe, in his entrepreneurial career and political career, at no time depended on “godfatherism” but on hardwork, diligence, and expertise.
In Conclusion, it is now more pressing than ever, to put the records straight, to disabuse the minds of unsuspecting Abians, to educate, to enlighten Abia State citizens and voters, to understand the pernicious and malicious waves of baseless rumours and cocktails of blackmail unleashed, now in circulation, are specifically sinister handiworks, designed to derail by any means the imminent political, social cum economic dividends of visionary, progressive agenda, now at the door steps, for Abians, if Professor Ibe, is elected Governor.
These rumours, hyped and peddled by the common enemies of the people of Abia State, are deliberately designed plots, desperately packaged at this time to demonize, defame, APGA and APGA Candidate, by linking Professor Gregory Ibe to non-existing, imaginary, trumped up accusations of having or enjoying imaginary support of T.A.Orji as Professor Ibe’s “Political godfather” or “Sponsor”.
These malicious devices, are not in anyway different from notoriously, internally engineered spawned oppositions, spearheaded by certain APGA Contestants or Contenders for the Guber ticket.
These individuals, in desperate bids, resorted to campaigns of calumny, including frivolous, incessant court cases, against Professor Gregory Ibe, in order to abort prematurely the imminent Advent of New Era in Abia State, personified by Professor Ibe.
Ultimate victory, belongs ultimately to Abia State citizens, in the end. The much awaited Advent of New Era in Abia State, is possible only if we learn to ignore completely these baseless rumours and cocktails of blackmail, orchestrated by the enemies of the people, whom you already know too well.
Let us rally together now as one people, tied to common destiny, defy and defeat finally the sinister devices, and unwholesome aims of the enemies of Abia State, in the upcoming Governorship polls, by voting massively and wisely for APGA and Professor Greg Ikechukwu Ibe.
