CAIRO, Egypt – The Super Ealges of Nigeria today picked the bronze medal at the ongoing African Cup of Nations(AFCON 2019) in Egypt after securing a narrow win over Tunisia.
The Eagles defeated Tunisia 1-0, following the early goal scored in the 3rd minutes by Odion Ighalo in the first half of the match. The Eagles succeeded in putting up a good defence for that lone goal till the end of 90 minutes.
The game between Algeria and Senegal comes up on Friday to determine the winner of the 2019 AFCON tournament.
