The Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has resigned when his tutored side failed to cruise into the quarter final state at the ongoing World Cup in Brazil.

The Eagles lost 2:0 to France. The Eagles coach said he is resigning to go home and take care of new challenges. Keshi is rumoured to have been approached by the South African Football Association to take care of the South African team.

The Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo also said in the post-match press conference that he has had enough of the team. He said is leaving to give the younger ones a chance adding that he had nothing to offer the team any more. Yobo is leaving but with glory after standing out as the most capped Super Eagles player.

We gathered that Osaze Odewinge also says he is quitting the team.
