February 22, 2015 – Members of the Lagos State Governor’s Office Correspondent (LAGOCO) on Friday presented copies of a book they authored to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola.

The book which has the theme, Fashola: Portrait of Genius in Service covered  activities of the governor with photographs in the past eight years.

The book which is a full colour production has fifteen chapters chronicled in 104 pages.

Speaking during the presentation, Chairman LAGOCO, Mr. Joshua Bassey, told the governor that the book remains the best to have been written about his administration most especially by professionals who were with him in the past eight years and saw all that he did.

He said it is the first time for journalists covering  any state house to come together to write a book on any administration.

While responding, Fashola descried the development as another first from Lagos State adding that he hoped that journalists covering state houses in other states would emulate the gesture.
