A HIGH-FLYING South Korean governor has been sensationally booted out of his party after a “disgusting” proposal to fix the country’s birth rate by “importing” foreign women for lonely bachelors.

Kim Hee Soo, a prominent figure in the Democratic Party, sparked international outrage after suggesting the government should source “young women” from Sri Lanka or Vietnam.

The plan—which critics compared to human trafficking—was intended to boost the population in rural areas where young men are struggling to find wives.

The Democratic Party moved at lightning speed to distance itself from the scandal, expelling Kim and stripping him of his membership.

In a scathing statement, party officials blasted the governor’s comments as a “grave violation of human rights.”

”His words were not just inappropriate; they were an assault on human dignity,” a party spokesperson said.

“We do not view human beings as commodities to be shipped in to solve demographic data points.”
