WASHINGTON – South Africa ambassador to the United States, Ebrahim Rasool has been expelled from the United States.
In a statement, Secretary of State, Marco Rubio said the ambassador is no longer welcomed and that he has been declared persona non grata.
In a post on X, Rubio described him as a hater of Trump as a result of his comments.
He called the envoy a “race-baiting politician” who hates America and President Donald Trump.
“South Africa’s Ambassador to the United States is no longer welcome in our great country.
Rubio said in a post on social media platform X.
“We have nothing to discuss with him and so he is considered PERSONA NON GRATA,” Rubio said.
