LAGOS, Nigeria – Talented Nigerian musician, Olanrewaju Fasasi, better known as Sound Sultan is down with cancer.
According to unconfirmed report, Sound Sultan, has been diagnosed with throat cancer.
Reports say he has commenced treatment in one of the hospitals in the United States, where has been placed on chemotherapy.
Born November 27, 1976, Sound Sultan who combines singing with acting . He is noted for R&B, Hiphop, reggae and Afrobeat.
Kennis music was his last known music label.
He attended Stepping Stone Nursery and Primary(1981-1987) school before moving to Federal Government College Ogbomosho(1988-1993) to attain his secondary school education before acquiring a degree in Geography and Regional Planning from Lagos State University in 1999 By 1991, Sound Sultan started taking a keen interest in music, miming at school parties and writing his own lyrics.
