AWKA, Anambra State – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the winner of the 2025 Anambra State Governorship election, concluding a highly contested and drawn-out electoral process.
The formal declaration was made in the early hours of Sunday with Soludo securing over 400,000 votes.
The All Progressive Congress, APC came second, while the People Democratic Party, PDP, coming third.
Soludo said he will now switch to gear 4 and that governance begins tomorrow Monday.
