ONITSHA, Anambra – Governor of Anambra State Prof Charles Soludo has appealed to residents of Anambra South Senatorial District to support All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) senatorial candidate , Chris Emeka Azubogu in the forthcoming general election.
Soludo made appeal when Azubogu joined him in a tour flaging-off Ajali-Akpu-Nawfija-Ufuma-Ogbunka road and others on Saturday.
According to the governor , the people of Anambra South should elect Azubogu as the Senator for Anambra South zone to provide a partnership that works for the people, through effective Intergovernmental Relations(State-Federal) for the benefit of the Anambra South Senatorial Zone.
Speaking at the Flag-off, Azubogu said that governor Soludo is fast turning the state into a huge construction site with his ongoing massive road construction across the state with closer completion dates.
According to the member representing Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, the governor is exemplifying political office as the instrument of development.
He said that Soludo will continue his flag-off and road inspection across the state as he focuses on resolving Anambra Road Crisis.
“Indeed, the solution is here” he said. Azubogu is the APGA senatorial candidate for Anambra South District and running to be part of the Soludo-led new development effort in the state.
