LAGOS, Nigeria – There has been a rapid transformation of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority(LASTMA).
From a traffic management outfit that was dominated by males, to flashy and very lively ladies, LASTMA is no doubt moving even further to smart and seductive ladies.
This is perhaps one way, the Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration is lightening the mood of commuters in Lagos State who are often demoralized by the nauseating Lagos traffic, that is often laced with insults in a bid to outwit and outpace one another.
Already, the trend of seductive ladies is being viewed as a comic relief that would improve on the smiles one gets when the commuter sets his eyes on some of those pretty traffic ambassadors.
But beyond that, could it be an implosion in waiting that would reinstate the fast disappearing trends of accident within the Lagos metropolis since many may not be able to help it but to continue to look, admire and admire, forgetting that they are behind the wheels until they kiss the car right in front or by the side.
This not withstanding, it remains an innovation of the Sanwo-Olu’s administration.
