Monrovia, Oct 17, 2016 – It appears education has collapsed completely in Liberia with students unable to secures passes in the West African Examination Council (WAEC).

A total of 42, 000 students in Liberia sat for May/June WAEC. But it is so appalling that our of the 42, 000 students, only 1 person secured passes.


In a report monitored on Raypower, the only candidate that passed the examination was very happy and hoped others will emulate him.

However, the poor result is said to have sparked anwake up call with President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Johnson, calling for total overhaul of education in Liberia.
