ISRAELI PM Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a dramatic “once in a lifetime” rallying cry to the people of Iran, urging them to rise up and topple the Ayatollah’s regime.
In a late-night message posted to his official X account, the Israeli leader claimed the “conditions” for a revolution are being built as the regional conflict reaches a fever pitch.
Addressing the Iranian public directly, Netanyahu declared that the era of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is effectively over.
”The Ayatollah is no more, and I know you don’t want him replaced with another tyrant,” Netanyahu posted. “So you must act. We are creating the conditions for you to do so.”
The Prime Minister teased that a decisive moment in the war—which began on February 28—is looming, promising that Israel would “pass the torch” to the Iranian people to secure their freedom.
”Be ready to seize the moment!” he warned.
While Netanyahu talked of liberation, Tehran’s envoy to the United Nations painted a much grimmer picture of the situation on the ground.
Ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani claimed that combined US and Israeli airstrikes have left a trail of “devastation” across Iran. According to Iravani:
1,300+ civilians have been killed since the outbreak of hostilities.
10,000 civilian sites have been destroyed or damaged.
65 schools and educational institutions have been hit.
Nearly 8,000 homes have been reduced to rubble.
The ambassador’s figures highlight the staggering scale of the conflict, though Israel maintains its strikes are surgical and aimed at dismantling the regime’s military infrastructure.
