BENIN CITY, Nigeria – Students in Edo State will not resume on Monday, January 18, following suspension of resumption by the Edo State Government.
Edo State Governor, Dr. Godwin Obaseki who made the announcement said besides suspending resumption, subsisting curfew was also reviewed to stem the spread of the Coronavirus.
“We have suspended schools’ resumption & reviewed the subsisting curfew to 10pm – 5am daily, to halt the spread of #COVID19”, he said.
The governor said new guidelines have been issued for markets, the hospitality industry, night clubs, religious and social gatherings, the transport sector, etc.
