PM’s wife tells of ‘shaming and violence’ in toxic hate campaign against family

By SCM REPORTER

SARA Netanyahu has launched a blistering attack on critics of her family, claiming her children are being subjected to a relentless campaign of “shaming and violence” simply because of who their father is.

In an emotional outburst that has rocked Jerusalem, the wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu laid bare the “unbearable” pressure facing her sons, Yair and Avner. Mrs. Netanyahu claimed the pair have become targets for protesters and online trolls who have crossed the line from political disagreement into personal thuggery.

”My kids endure shaming and violence simply for being the PM’s children,” she declared, sparking a fresh debate over the vitriolic nature of modern Israeli politics.

’Under Siege’
The Prime Minister’s wife suggested that the family feels under siege within their own home. She painted a picture of a domestic life shattered by the constant noise of demonstrations and the “poisonous” atmosphere surrounding their official residence.

The claims come as Benjamin Netanyahu—the longest-serving leader in Israel’s history—faces a wave of protests over his government’s policies and ongoing legal battles. But Sara insists her children should be “off-limits.”

Critics, however, were quick to point out that her eldest son, Yair, is no stranger to controversy himself, frequently taking to social media to launch fiery broadsides against his father’s political rivals.

The Netanyahu family has long been a lightning rod for public opinion in Israel. This isn’t the first time the “First Family” has claimed they are being unfairly victimized by a “left-wing media elite” and aggressive street protesters.

Benjamin Netanyahu: Currently leading a right-wing coalition, “Bibi” is simultaneously fighting a series of corruption charges—all of which he denies.

The Sons: While Avner Netanyahu generally keeps a low profile, his older brother Yair has become a polarizing figure, often acting as his father’s unofficial (and outspoken) digital spokesperson.
The Protests: For months, thousands have gathered outside the PM’s residence, with tensions frequently boiling over into clashes with police.

The latest comments from Mrs. Netanyahu suggest that the divide in the country is no longer just about policy—it’s become deeply personal.
