The Monuments Men which is distributed by Sony Pictures is number 4. That movie yielded $15million after going through 3,083 theatres in the US to make it to that position on the chart. RoboCop which is just hitting the box office rallied to the third position.
That movie rewarded Sony Pictures with $21.5 million after passing through 3,372 cinemas in the US to clinch the third position on the chart.
About Last Night, which is also fresh at the box office made it to the second position after breaking even with $27 million from 2,253 viewing centres across the US. About Last Night is distributed by Screen Gems.
But the most patronized movie at the Box Office remained The Lego Movie, distributed by Warner Brothers. That film scooped $48.810 million from 3,775 theatres where it premiered across the US to retain the No 1 position on the chart. The Lego Movie was put together with the sum of $60 million but it has made profit in excess of $129.113 million in just two weeks at the box office.
