PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria – The Rivers State University has presented an award of excellence to the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku.
He was presented with the award for his outstanding leadership, vision, and commitment to developing the Niger Delta region.
Here, Prof. Confidence Wachukwu (left), representing the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nlerum Sunday Okogbule, presents the award to Dr Ogbuku (right) at the NDDC Headquarters in Port Harcourt.
The NDDC was set up to facilitate the rapid and sustainable development of the Niger Delta into a region that is economically prosperous, socially stable, ecologically regenerative and politically peaceful.
