RED SEA ROCKETS: Yemen Rebels Launch Drones and Cruise Missiles in New ‘Holy Jihad’ Strike

Yemen Armed Forces announce attacks on Israel in support of Iran

BY SCM ONLINE REPORTER

YEMEN has declared a “Holy Jihad” against Israel, launching a sophisticated barrage of cruise missiles and suicide drones in a dramatic escalation of Middle East tensions.

The Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed they have entered a second phase of military operations, specifically targeting “vital military sites” in the south of the country.

In a chilling subtitled video statement released today, rebel leaders claimed the strikes were timed to coincide with a massive, coordinated assault involving fighters from Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The rebel group stated the blitz is part of a wider campaign to force an end to Israeli military actions in the region. They warned that the rain of fire will not stop until the “aggression” ceases.

”The Yemeni Armed Forces executed the second military operation in the Holy Jihad Battle,” the statement read.

Military analysts warn that this coordinated “triple-threat” from the north, east, and south marks a dangerous new chapter in the conflict, stretching Israel’s famed “Iron Dome” and “Arrow” defense systems to their limits.

Background: The Rising Tide of Conflict
The involvement of the Yemeni Armed Forces—primarily controlled by the Houthi movement—adds a volatile layer to an already exploding regional war.

The “Axis of Resistance”: Yemen’s rebels are widely seen as part of a Tehran-backed alliance including Hezbollah in Lebanon and various militias in Iraq and Syria. This “Axis” aims to overwhelm Israel by opening multiple battlefronts simultaneously.
Strategic Threat: By targeting southern Israel, Yemen is utilizing long-range cruise missiles and “Kamikaze” drones capable of traveling over 1,000 miles. These attacks often target the port city of Eilat, a crucial gateway for Israeli trade.
Red Sea Chaos: Beyond direct strikes on land, Yemeni forces have previously caused global economic chaos by targeting commercial shipping in the Red Sea, forcing British and American naval forces to intervene.
The international community now watches with bated breath as the “Holy Jihad” declaration threatens to pull the entire region into a full-scale, multi-national war.
