SPAIN – Real Madrid defender Antonio Rüdiger remains sidelined with a muscle injury, and the Spanish club gave no indication when the German international can play again.
Real said that examinations Saturday showed that Rüdiger is nursing a muscle injury in his left thigh and that “his progress is pending.”
Spanish media believe that Rüdiger, 30, will be out of action for at least another two weeks.
Rüdiger has been sidelined since the beginning of the month, as he misses matches including Saturday’s La Liga topper against Girona and the Champions League last 16 first leg match next week at Germany’s RB Leipzig.
