February 7, 2015 – President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was today at the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) in Mowe, Ogun State to receive prayers ahead of the coming general elections.
Jonathan is seeking to be re-elected to the office and he is banking on his numerous achievements in the rail sector, aviation, roads, rebased economy, humility and charismatic appeal among others to win the heart of Nigerians.
Already, he has received endorsement from Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN), Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), Oodua Peoples Congress(OPC), Afenifere, National Union of Road Transport Workers(NURTW) and many others.
He knelt down before Pastor Enoch Adeboye who laid his hands upon him. Prior to the prayers he met with the Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Professor Yemi Osibanjo who was also at RCCG for prayers.
The President exchanged pleasantries with Osibanjo before the prayers and also took to the pulpit to address those in the gathering.The pastor also prayed for Osibanjo at the gathering.
