October 14, 2015 – President Muhammadu Buhari today withdrew one of the nominees he forwarded to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki announced the withdrawal on the floor of the house.
He did not give any reason for the withdrawal. Meanwhile other nominees are slated for screening.
They are Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, former governors of Lagos and Rivers State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola and Rotimi Amaechi among others.
