Princess Dosunmu, an House of Assembly aspirant in Lagos Island Constituency1 under PDP,  also gave out token amount to the beneficiaries after the one month program.

“I discovered that many people are jobless, not that they are lazy, but they can’t find job to do after they finish their education. The scenario disturbed me a lot and woke up one day to use all the available means within my capacity to assist”, she disclosed.

She said, “I tried and secured a venue on the Island, invited and negotiated with some experts on the courses and printed out forms, which were distributed to each ward in the Lagos Island Constituency1. It was a big surprise for me on the turn out, because university graduates, housewives, male and female, youths and old, also people from Costituency11 enrolled for the program”.

“This program is a continuous one because my dream is to see everybody engaged in one thing or the other. Devil makes use of idle hands. Many youths have turned to political thugs or motor garage touts, just to find something to eat and to take care of their families. I believe that when they learn this trade, they will not be easily convinced to join bad gang”, she added. She posited that   her  priority is to make life bearable for residents of Lagos Island by making them self reliant if elected.
