OGUN, Nigeria – The Ogun State Police Command said on Saturday that it has rescued the remaining four pastors kidnapped by gunmen on their way to pre-conference of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) ahead of the Holy Ghost Convention kicking off this week.
The five pastors were kidnapped at Ijebu Ode, General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye had announced.
But Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi said one Mrs Ibelegbo Chidinma, who was also kidnapped earlier has been rescued.
According to him, all the five pastors kidnapped on Friday were rescued unharmed from their abductors when operatives of the command swooped on their hideout.
