LAGOS, Nigeria – Former Chairman of the Lagos State branch of the National Union Of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW), Alhaji Rafiu Akanni Olohunwa was today paraded by the Nigeria Police Force(NPF) for assassination of former Chairman of Idumota branch of the NURTW, Mr. Azeez Adekunle Lawal alias ‘Kunle Poly’ in Lagos Island.
Kunle Poly was killed at Idumota on 23rd January, 2018. Olohunwa has denied the allegations. The millionaire who was paraded by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal told reporters that he knew nothing about the N1.5 million he allegedly voted to eliminate Kunle Poly.
Others paraded with him was his alleged henchman, Adeola Williams alias Ade Lawyer who confessed to some killings apart from causing the death of Ganiyu Ayinla, a personal assistant to Kunle Poly at No 1 John Street, Idumota, Lagos.
