February 24, 2015 – Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in River State has taken his political campaign to editors in Lagos where he splashed dollars on editors.
A reliable source who attended the meeting told our correspondent that all editors and journalists that attended the meeting in Lagos went home with at least $3,000.
We gathered that the most senior editors at the meeting received $5,000, some got $4,000 while the rest got $3,000.
We gathered that the money was distributed per head at a media parley addressed by Peterside who is seen as the strongest contender to Wike, the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) candidate in Rivers State.
We gathered that photojournalists also benefited from the largess which was handed out without discrimination.
