ENUGU – The embattled Governor of Enugu State, Mr. Peter Mbah has gone berserk, cracking down on journalists for exposing his acts of forgery.
Recall that a director in charge of certificate at the NYSC testified at the Enugu Governorship Elections Petitions Tribunal, that the NYSC certificate used by the governor was fake.
But the governor believes journalists were behind his ordeal and ordered his men to go after journalists.
A Freelance Reporter with a foreign media organization and a civil society group member were abducted from their homes at the weekend by plain clothes policemen.
They were there after arraigned at an Enugu Magistrate Court today for cyberstalking, inciting violence and kidnapping.
They have been granted bail and asked to report to the police authorities anytime they are required.
