A production of Lions Gate, the film made $8.3 million from the 1,896 cinemas where it was exhibited in the US to hit number 5 on the chart.
Non-stop which was number three the previous week slipped to number 4 after grossing just $10.615 million from 3,183 theatres where it made appearance in the US. Non-Stop was produced by Universal Pictures. A little bit ahead at numbers three is Need for Speed, another new comer at the box office. A production of Buena Vista, Need for Speed made $17.808 million after making appearance in 3,115 theatres in the US to make it to number 3 on the chart.
300: Rise of an Empire which was number one last week was pushed to number 2 this week. Put together by Warner Brothers, Rise of an Empire scooped $19.105 from 3,490 viewing centres in the US to remain in the second position on the chart. Ironically, Peabody and Sherman which was number 2 last week pushed itself into reckoning as the most patronized movie at the box office after grossing $21.2 million from 3,951 viewing centres in the US.
A production of Fox Studios, the film was put together with the sum of $145 million but it has made over $68 million Dollars in just two weeks at the box office.
