YOBE, Nigeria – The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has expressed shocked as 94 girls were declared missing following attack on Girls Secondary School, Dapchi, Yobe State by an unknown assailants.

“Indeed, we are very distrubed by this urgly development, giving the conflicting reports on the whereabout of these innocent girls”, the party said in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbodiyan, adding that the safety and innocence of Nigerians remains very paramount to the party, and called on government to spare no effort in searching for the girls.

While asserting that it is monitoring the situation, the party called on the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris to swing into action and investigate the situation and retrieve the girls where ever they may be.
