PALESTINE – The Palestinian Ministry of Health has recovered 54 dead bodies from the Gaza Strip.
The dead bodies according to the ministry were recovered following searches as the ceasefire enters the third day in the last 24 hours.
The ministry said one of the 54 was injured by Israeli airstrikes and died as a result of injuries.
It added that some of those killed in the strikes are still trapped under the rubble in Gaza.
“54 martyrs (53 of whom were recovered and 1 martyr succumbing to their injuries) and 19 injuries have reached the hospitals in Gaza during the past 24 hours.
A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and the ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
The toll of the “israeli” aggression has risen to 47,161 martyrs and 111,166 injuries since the 7th of October 2023.
