LAGOS, Nigeria – Our Lagos Megacity is now under threat as nature continues to unearth its ugly side each time the rain falls.
Penultimate week, the social media was abuzz with photographs of residents either paddling canoe, swimming, stuck in water or struggling to wade through water as the rains turns the city of Lagos into lagoon.
The early rain of Saturday , July 22, 2017 threw out another ugly side of the emerging Lagos Megacity, in Surulere, this time a city submerged by filth with people wading through to get to destination. What will happen when the next rain falls? Only God knows.
