AKURE, Nigeria -Ondo State Governor, Arabinrin Rotimi Akeredolu has tested positive to the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.
The governor who disclosed this on the social media said he is asymptomatic and that he has been self isolating, adding that work goes on.
He called for prayers on the state of his health
“Today I tested positive for #COVID19. All is well. I’m asymptomatic and have been self isolating. Work continues. Your continued prayers over my well being are most appreciated”, he said.
The governor said he has also shared N100 million being money earned on Land Use Charge between the state government and all the local governments in the state.
He said the money was collected between January and May, 2020, adding that by this, Ondo State remains the first state to share revenue earned on Land Use Charge with local governments
