Obi is contending that he won the election based on results from his agents and what has been uploaded on IREV and that Tinubu was not qualified to run in the election and that the votes allocated to him be declared as wasted votes.
Already, Lamidi Apapa had in his unofficial capacity dissolved the Labour Party Campaign Council said it was Labour Party that contested the election and wants to withdrew LP’s petition against Tinubu.
But at the tribunal today, he was now recognized as chairman of the party, he was booed, jeered and could have been beaten to pulp but for the intervention of the Nigerian Police at the tribunal that held, him and dragged him out of the scene with chants of Ole, Ole, Ole.
It is not clear if he was arrested.
