Bible Church Massacre Mastermind Finally Faces Justice Over Horror Attack
By Our SCM Correspondent
ABUJA, Nigeria – The suspected mastermind behind one of Nigeria’s most horrific terrorist attacks – the 2012 massacre at a Bible Church – has finally been dragged to court after a dramatic escape from prison.
Abdulmalik Abdulazeez Obadaki, who allegedly orchestrated the bloody 2012 bomb and gun attack on the Deeper Life Bible Church in Okene, Kogi State, was sensationally arraigned in Abuja yesterday.
It comes just two days after spooks from the Department of State Services (DSS) saw another terror leader, Hussaini Ismaila of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), locked up for a solid 20 YEARS.
Jailbreak Shock
Obadaki, a suspected terrorist kingpin, is believed to have led the gang that executed the Okene atrocity, then later raided five commercial banks in Uromi, Edo State, leaving a trail of dead bodies and looted cash.
But the villain’s luck ran out when he was arrested and clapped in irons at Kuje Prison.
In a shocking twist, Obadaki then managed to escape during the infamous July 2022 mass jailbreak at the Kuje Custodial Centre.
Now, security sources reveal the twisted terror boss has confessed to the whole thing – admitting he orchestrated the Kuje jailbreak itself following his transfer just a month before the riot!
Facing six explosive counts yesterday at the Federal High Court, including conspiracy, terror membership, and escaping lawful custody, Obadaki pleaded guilty to one of the charges: fleeing prison.
However, he is fighting the other five counts, including the terror charges, with a “Not Guilty” plea.
Presiding Judge Justice Joyce Obehi Abdulmalik slammed the suspect straight back into the custody of the secret police and adjourned the case until January 26, 2026.
Coup Plotter Webbed!
In a separate hearing yesterday, DSS operatives also brought another villain to justice: a social media user accused of being a COUP PLOTTER!
Innocent Chukwuemeka was charged with using his “X” (formerly Twitter) account to openly demand a coup d’état in Nigeria.
He faces six counts, including false publication aimed at causing public alarm and cyber stalking.
After pleading not guilty, he was also remanded in DSS custody, with his hearing set for the same day as the alleged church bomber: January 26, 2026.
