MINNA, Nigeria – The Niger State Government has announced a total ban on commercial motorbike, otherwise called Okada in Minna, the state capital.
The ban according to the Niger State government is effective tomorrow 3rd June, 2021.
The statement added that private motorcycles will however be allowed to operate between 6am to 9 pm daily.
“Niger state government has announced the total ban of commercial motorcycles popularly known as Okada in Minna.
“However, private bikes are allowed to operate but with restrictions from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. D Ban takes effect frm 3rdJune, 2021&will be implemented to the latter”, Chief Press Secretary to the State Government said in a statement.
