OIC calls on the International Community to protect Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar

JEDDAH – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemns the atrocities committed recently by the Myanmar Military and the Arakan army against the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
The OIC General Secretariat urges the international community to take immediate action to ensure the safety and protection of the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, and to provide critically needed humanitarian relief, especially in Maundaw and Buthidaung townships.
It further calls upon the international community to hold the perpetrators of these heinous actions accountable under the international law.
