ABEOKUTA, Ogun, Nigeria – Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved elongation of the career of Primary School teachers in the state up to Grade Level 15.
The governor who gave the approval today also swore in Principals-Generals and Headmasters- General into office and also digitized the teaching and learning process through the introduction of ICT facilities and televised classes.
The governor who made the statement on the occasion of World Teachers Day, called on teachers to inculcate in the children positive values and protect their rights, most professionally.
“As we celebrate our teachers today, I call on them to kindly inculcate in the children positive values, and protect their rights, most professionally. Happy Teachers Day”, the governor said on twitter.

Prince Dapo Abiodun also approved the 2016, 2017 promotion backlog of over 10,000 teachers; and advanced the recruitment process of 1,655 graduate teachers.
