April 17, 2015 – Award winning filmmaker, Mr. Kunle Afolayan is fuming as film pirates continue to feast on his latest film, October 1.
The filmmaker, who emerged the best producer in the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) with his October 1, winning more than 7 awards said he has not released the film on DVD.
He has also appealed to Nigerians not to buy the film now selling in Lagos traffic, adding that the film was yet to be released.
The sum of $2 million was spent in producing the film.
