SEOUL – A prominent Korean actor, O Yeong-Su has been sentenced to jail for indecent assault on an actress.
The 79 year old actor who featured in the Squid Game series was sentenced to eight months in prison, two years suspension from work and 40 hours of participation in sexual violence treatment courses for sexual harassment.
O Yeong-Su has now been registered as a sex offender.
He was found guilty by a South Korea district court for indecent assult on an actress in 2017.
The actor however denied the allegations.
