ABUJA, Nigeria – The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has named Rivers State Governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike to lead the 77 member campaign council in Edo State governorship election.
Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, will be his deputy while Dr. Agbo Emmanuel is the secretary of the campaign council.
Some prominent members of the council are Governor Aminu Tambuwal, Ifeanyi Okowa, Samuel Ortom, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Emmanuel Udom, David Umahi, Ben Ayade, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Darius Ishaku, Abdulkadir Mohammed, Seyi Makinde, Bellow Mutawellen Maradaun and Diri Duoye.

Other prominent members are former Vice Presidents, Atiku Abubakar and Nnamadi Sambo. Others are Enyinaya Abaribe, Former Senate Presidents, Dr. Bukola Saraki and Sen. David Mark, Sen Ike Ekweremadu, Former Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara and Peter Obi.
