ABUJA, Nigeria — Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu didn’t mince his words today, firing a furious ‘Justice is NOT for sale!’ warning shot directly at the nation’s top judges.

The tough-talking leader laid into the Superior Court judges at their annual conference, demanding they boot out corrupt colleagues or risk “destroying” the entire nation.

In a blistering address that ripped into the heart of Nigeria’s legal system, President Tinubu insisted the public has lost faith, complaining about “delays” and serious “concerns about integrity.”

’NO SANCTUARY FOR SCUM’

Speaking at the National Judicial Institute, Tinubu’s message was brutally clear: The Judiciary must clean up its act—or else!

”Justice must never be for sale, and the Bench must never become a sanctuary for compromise,” the President declared.

He added a chilling warning: “Corruption in the Judiciary destroys [the nation] at its core.”
The President demanded that judges, the “living custodians of justice,” act with “firm, transparent, and consistent” discipline to save the Republic’s soul.

DIGITAL JUSTICE DEAL
Despite the harsh words, the President promised a massive cash injection to drag the courts into the 21st century.

He vowed his government would fast-track the “digitisation of court processes” and push for “modern infrastructure” to cut the infuriating case backlogs that leave poor Nigerians waiting years for a ruling.

”Our courts must no longer be places where cases languish for years,” he insisted, promising to make the system more efficient and “affordable and accessible to the poor.”

Tinubu heaped praise on the judges who have stood up to tyranny, calling the Judiciary the “stabilising force” of the nation.

But he reminded the legal eagles that their power came from the people’s trust, telling them:

“Only a Judiciary that cleanses itself can command the moral authority to cleanse society.”

The President concluded by urging the judges to deliver actionable solutions, ensuring the Judiciary truly remains the “last hope of the common man.”
