March 7, 2014 – The Nigerian Military today confirmed that members of the radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram today carried out suicide attacks in three locations killing scores of Nigerians.
In a statement, Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade said that the terrorists attacked Baga Motor Park, Borno Express Park and Monday Market, vowing to revenge in behalf of the civilian casualties.
He said troops are now conducting mop up operation in Buni Yadi and Buni Gari.
Eyewitness say that the attacker at the market rode on tricycle.
