Nigeria Beats Congo 2:0 To Keep AFCON Hope Alive

November 15, 2014 – The Super Eagles of Nigeria this evening defeated Congo 2:0 in an away march to keep hope alive in the African cup of nations, AFCON 2015.

Ikechukwu Uche and Aaron Samuel scored the two goals. The 2:0 win now takes Nigeria to the second spot in Group A with one match to go.

The last game will be at the Akwa Ibom International stadium in Nigeria against Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
